I am a well-being guide + curator of joyful experiences.

I want to inspire and help others to create a more balanced, focused and mindful life. I want more people to know that healing is accessible to them and know that they have a community to support them in their journey. And it is this desire that inspired me to launch my company, Ascent Mind+Body Co. in January 2018.

From an early age, I struggled with anxiety and depression but it really became apparent when I went off to college. It was overwhelming and isolating. When I graduated I continued to experience anxiety and depression, but therapy was not accessible to me at the time.  I started searching for ways to soothe my pain and frustrations and discovered different tools – such as yoga, meditation, journaling and breathwork – that helped me feel grounded. They were tools that I could grasp on to when I felt like I was spiraling out of control. They were a form of self-care and were also “preventative maintenance” for me and my mental, emotional and physical health. People around me noticed the shift and I found myself always sharing my experiences with others who were curious about the wellness space.

Now I educate others on the mindfulness tools and wellness practices that I used to give my life more peace and clarity.  And I often find creative and out-of-the-box ways to do so. I always notice in my conversations that people often feel like they do not have the space to safely and without judgment explore mindfulness and improve their well-being. Or they feel like it’s too “woo woo” for them. Or they do not see enough people that look like them in certain spaces so they feel it is not for them. Or they simply need/want to be informed on everything that is out there and available to them!

Through Ascent Mind+Body Co. I provide a space for education, self-exploration, and connection with community. It is a judgment free zone where I create environments for people to carve out time to pour into themselves, build a connection with themselves and often times – just relax!

My most popular offering is my sound bath meditations where I put my musical training and love of sound to use! It humbles me every time someone tells me how a sound bath session with me left them feeling more relaxed or grounded or energized. I have taught mindfulness workshops for corporate clients and in schools. I also host unique mindfulness events (my Lego Party for Adults is a big hit!) and coordinate group wellness retreats (the annual cabin trip is one of my favorites!). I often collaborate with other practitioners (yoga teachers, meditation guides and more) in my region to combine our efforts and extend our reach to the community.

I am grateful for every connection I make and for every person who entrusts me to guide them through the wellness space. I am really excited to continue to magnify my impact and walk more fully in my purpose as a well-being educator and healer in my community.
